Bitcoin Cash (BCH) adoption continues this week as there’s been a slew of announcements associated with BCH acceptance and activism. For instance, a massive electronic billboard in the middle of Tokyo displayed a huge BCH symbol indicating that Japan’s largest luxury watch and jewelry shop, Gem Castle Yukizaki, now accepts bitcoin cash at all 15 locations.

« on: September 06, 2019, 12:19:12 AM »
From Meetup.com:

On September 12th we'll be transforming this charming archway and courtyard in Shoreditch into a mini seminar venue with talks, food, drinks and networking. We have two talks lined up for you:

"Bitcoin Cash as a Base Currency"
Danish Chaudhry - CEO, Bitcoin.com Exchange
Danish has broad experience across multiple industries having worked in finance (BlackRock) and consulting (EY) before becoming a startup founder (TeacherHQ) and mentor (Virgin Startup). Recently he's joined Bitcoin.com to head up their exchange product, of which you can expect a demo.

"Schnorr Signatures and CashShuffle In Action"
Richard Brady - Developer, Trustless.io
Richard spent 10 years in telecoms designing large open-source VoIP deployments for UK mobile operators. He's now developing Bitcoin Cash powered phone and WiFi services which remove friction and trust from the user experience.

Between and after talks there will be a selection of meals and drinks available, all at £1, with payment taken in BCH. If you don't have Bitcoin Cash yet your hosts will gladly assist you with installing a wallet (fast WiFi available) and topping it up.

We have limited space so please check your availability before you RSVP.

Right of admission reserved.

Onboarding Q&A Plus Discussion / Frequently Asked Questions
« on: August 30, 2019, 09:09:15 PM »
Question: How do I pay taxes?

Answer: The easiest way to deal with taxes is use a service which converts BCH into local "fiat" (national currency) immediately at time of transaction. This way the tax procedure should be the same as traditional transactions. The leading service for this currently is BitPay which charges a flat 1% fee. BitPay has offices in the United States, Europe and South America.

Note: please post proposals for new and better or modified questions or answers below.
